Old friends

There's just something about those people that you've known forever, who know you inside and out. I love friends like that! The ones where you can just pick up where you left off! I just had a long conversation with the person I consider to be my best friend ... we've been friends for close to 15 years now, and even though we've lived thousands of miles from each other for the last 5 years, we still have an amazing bond.

Honestly, I don't even know if she would still call me her "best friend," but as far as I'm concerned, she'll always hold that title for me. We've just been through so much together, had so many good times, and been there for each other in the bad times, too. She gets me like almost no one else does. I'm the most myself when I'm with her or with Jesse-- there's no facade, no wall, it's just me. And I love that.
